Alphabet Love

Hello Friends!

Today I have a new alphabet for more print-and-cut fun. It's a striped alphabet, the completion of the one I started for the Spring garland. Once I got the five SPRING letters done, I thought I'd go ahead and finish 'striping' the rest of the alphabet so that it can be used in future projects. I love stripes so don't be surprised to see this alphabet make more appearances around here in the future.

The stripes in these letter shapes in the .studio file were left 'unfilled'. One advantage to this is that they can be customized with color to match any design or occasion. This alphabet can also be used for so many different projects, in so many different ways. In the rest of my posts this week, I'll show you how.

To help anyone who is new to the Silhouette Studio software, I've included an instruction file for filling the stripes with color. It's the second file download at the bottom of this post.

It might sound complicated and if you're new to the software, it might seem complicated at first. But if you jump in regularly, you'll continue to learn so many things you'll become a design pro in no time. And remember this: If you feel like you've done something wrong, there's always the 'undo' command!

The instruction file is here.
