Bows and Blooms

Hello Everyone!

Monday, Monday. What a day. Almost everything, work-wise, went wrong yesterday. It's probably because I was actually writing in my (now discarded) blog entry yesterday how much I liked Mondays. Because I feel like I get so much done. Not so much, after all. Irony anyone?

But that was yesterday. Today? Today there are a few things to catch up on. Like paper bows. Do you like them? I was on the fence and then I saw this paper bow kit at Target so I thought I'd check them out.

Turns out I really like them. They'd be a great addition to packages and bags for gifting but they'd also be cute strung together as a garland in a little girl's room. They're very easy to put together and buying them in a kit like this means all you need is a little glue...or glue stick, in my case.

Did you see the bounty of blooms? The plate of posies? The barrage of blossoms? That's mostly what I've been working on today. I need a lot to complete what I have planned for the next few days.

These aren't finished - I have a few more steps to get them done and then they'll be ready for what's next. Which I'll share with you when they're completed and photographed. I'm not trying to be all mysterious, I just think that pictures will do everything more justice.

I'm so excited - I finally got my 'blog-ness' cards! They're not really like business cards in the traditional sense (so I call them blog-ness cards) but more like a calling card for my blog. Since my business - at least the root of my business - is the Paisley Press blog, I wanted something to hand to people to let them know where they can find me on the www.

And last but not least - I haven't forgotten the file for the Dad's Day tie box. It's right down there, beneath this paragraph. I'm still working on a printable one for folks who don't own a Silhouette. I'll post the link as soon as I make sure everything's working.

Stay tuned.
